The doors opened at 4:30 and by 5:10 there was already a wait! We sampled a bit of everything off the happy hour menu (served from 4:30 - 6:00) and also enjoyed items from the regular menu as well. Our server was attentive and each bite as delicious as we remembered. This place is a must try while in South Lake Tahoe.
It's our "must go to" Sushi Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. Every dish we've tried has been delicious. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu eventually. The service is always great too. Very courteous, helpful and attentive.

We went back last night for the third time and everything is still amazing! Best sushi in El Dorado County. We drive from Pollock Pines to eat dinner here. Juan is an awesome sushi chef and his Love Machine roll is out of this world!! Can't wait to go back!!
We had dinner here a couple of weeks ago (4 of us). Granted this may be a bit biased as our expectations were that that high for sushi in Tahoe, but we all enjoyed the meal very much. The decor is typical "sushi restaurant" setting in a nice way. The service was very good. We ordered a variety of rolls and nigiri sushi and thought everything was good to very good. We would welcome the opportunity to go back.
This was my first time here! Our Server Chloe was awesome and attentive, and our food came out fast even on a busy night. The food was awesome and we will definitely be coming back. Kudos to the sushi chefs for serving up some great fish. I think our chefs name was Jay Z?
Off the hook is our favorite sushi spot in south lake! The fish is so fresh and the staff is so friendly. They do get busy so I would recommend getting on the waitlist as soon as possible!
Top notch! They're so many different rolls for everyone. The creativity is so unique the funky role Medina and the gambler is our favorite.
This is the place! The entrance to the restaurant boasts two walls of local Best of awards and it's for a reason, not only is the service fantastic, but the food and flavor profiles are amongst the best you can find from a sushi place! We've never been disappointed with anything we've eaten here. Tonight's dinner I tried their Shrimp Dynamite as a shared app. There are many restaurants that make a version of this however, this was the best I've ever had. Anywhere. We also split a Sugar Mama roll, a Crunch Granola roll and a Royal Flush roll. All were delightful, delectable and scrumptious! I love that they offer fresh grated wasabi here. It's an $2 up charge, but very worth it!
